When Hampshire publisher and businessman Robert Jarman approached us to build an online magazine that “could rival the Huffington Post”, we couldn’t resist the challenge! Aimed at affluent over-50s, The Vintage Magazine is a WordPress-based subscription-only wbesite with strong SEO, authorship and social media technology built-in.

From a fresh start-up idea with a brand new domain name (always a disadvantage due to Google’s “sandboxing” effects), The Vintage Magazine has – in just under one year – risen to the top spot in Google for it’s generic name, above the plethora of other ‘vintage magazines’ out there – some of which are decades old.

The editoral goes from strength to strength with new articles added regularly, and with help and advice from us, Robert – who had previously very little experience of the web or online publishing at all – has become proficient at running a successful and popular website.
